Introduction du produit
PEX copper fittings are copper fittings used to connect PEX pipes (cross-linked polyethylene pipes). They typically include elbows, tees, and connectors, achieving a sealed connection between the PEX pipe and the copper fitting through methods such as crimping, expansion, or threaded connections. They are widely used in building water supply, heating systems, and underfloor heating.
The core feature of PEX copper fittings lies in combining the advantages of both PEX pipes and copper fittings: PEX pipes offer corrosion resistance, vibration resistance, and a long service life (over 50 years), while copper fittings provide high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance (typically applicable temperature range of -70℃ to 110℃), and good creep resistance, ensuring reliable connections. This combination is particularly suitable for systems with high safety and durability requirements, such as indoor hot and cold water pipes and underfloor heating. In terms of classification and standards, PEX copper pipe fittings must match the type of PEX pipe (e.g., PEX-a, PEX-b, or PEX-c). Different cross-linking methods affect the heat resistance and stress cracking resistance of the pipe material; therefore, it is essential to ensure that the pipe fittings and PEX pipes are of the same grade and material when selecting fittings. Products must comply with relevant standards, such as GB/T 18992 regarding pressure ratings and dimensional tolerances, and CJ/T205-2000 and CJJ/T98-2003 regarding temperature resistance, degree of cross-linking (typically 70%-89%), and vibration resistance. The fittings themselves must pass a 95℃/1.5MPa hydrostatic test and meet axial tensile strength requirements.
